Horticulture Seasonal Work

 

  • Duration: up to 6 MONTHS
  • Types of horticulture farms: vegetables, crop fields, fruit fields etc.
  • Work hours: 37-40h/week
  • Accommodation close to the farm

 

Salary

  • From ∼ € 2,441 /month, before taxes
  • Overtimes are present

 

Requirements for applicants

  • Previous work experience in horticulture with taking care of plants, picking, planting, etc.
  • Preferable: relevant completed education in horticulture, crop science, agriculture, etc.
  • International Passport
  • Age between 18-40 years old
  • Communicational level of English
  • Driving license is an advantage

 

Program Costs

  • Program fee
  • Visa fee approx. €200
  • Private health care insurance covering the whole period of stay in Sweden
  • Plane ticket to & from Sweden
  • Accommodation: €200-€300 / month

 

Horticulture Traineeship

  • Duration: up to 12 MONTHS
  • Types of horticulture farms: vegetables, crop fields, fruit fields etc.
  • Traineeship hours: 37-40h/week
  • Accommodation close to the farm

 

Allowance

  • From ∼SEK 15000 / month, before taxes
  • Overtime is possible and shall be agreed in contract

 

Requirements for applicants

  • Current students or recent graduates (bachelor’s or master’s degree). In the case of graduates, the diploma cannot be older, than 1,5 years upon your visa application and processing
  • Eligible majors: Agriculture, Crop Science, Horticulture and other related majors
  • International Passport
  • Age between 18-29 years old
  • Communicational level of English
  • Driving license is an advantage
